The Lena Wäppling Foundation was founded in May 2019 and has so far awarded 4.8 million SEK for research. The foundation is the only private foundation in Sweden that raises funds and grants support for research on early diagnosis and improved treatments for ovarian cancer.

Our founder, Lena Wäppling, is an ovarian cancer survivor. She wants to make a difference for affected women by funding more research to increase survival chances and save lives.
